The front of the house. The house isn't really tilted; I'm not the best photographer in the world. (Probably not even the worst ... there might be one or two guys who do worse than me.) Click on the image for a large, high-quality image. The house has all new double-hung, double-pane windows, a new garage door and remote-control opener, and a new concrete driveway. The stockade fence visible on the right side of the house is also new as is the stockade fence and gate to the back on the left side of the house (not completely visible, however, in this picture). A beautiful hedge gives privacy for the large concrete patio underneath the flat roof supported by four columns. |
As you walk in the front door, the stairs to the second level are directly ahead of you (see next picture)). As shown in this picture, looking to the right, there is a family room with fireplace, new damper installed and glass screen on the lower level of the house. |
Entering the house and looking a little more ahead, you see the stairs and the rest of the family room. Behind the stairs on the lower level is a hallway leading to a full bath, two bedrooms, and the utility room, which connects to the one-car garage. The carpeting throughout the house is completely new. Dimensions are 13'-14' wide by 23'6" deep. |
This is the view of the front door from the rear of the family room, it looks dark due to the glare of outside light, which causes the camera to close the aperture down to avoid over-exposure. |
A view of the downstairs hallway off the family room, which leads to a linen closet with under-stair storage followed by two bedrooms on the left, and a full bath on the right with the utility room door at the right rear of the hall. Not really much to see, but it should help to get you oriented... |
Here's a view of the downstairs full bathroom. New tub and surround, new vanity, new medicine cabinet, new light bar (4 bulbs), new storage cabinet, new toilet, new glass door, and new exhaust fan. In other words, everything brand new. |
Another view of the downstairs full bath, taken from the tub to show the sink, vanity, medicine cabinet and light bar, all brand new. Excess glare from the light bar is showing in the photo, but it looks normal in person. Did I mention that I'm not the world's best photographer? |
A view of the open linen closet door, with the under-stair storage access panel showing. |
A view of the under-stair storage, the linen closet door is right across the hall from the lower level bathroom door, and what you see here is behind the panel at the back of the linen closet. The lower white cable is for cable TV in the first lower level bedroom, it terminates in the utility room. (Cable TV is not included with the rental price, tenants must contract for the service with a cable TV company). |
This is a view of the first bedroom on the left as you enter the lower level hall from the family room. Dimensions are 8.5' wide by 12' deep overall, including the closet, which itself is 5'8" wide by 2'4" deep. The room has one wide window. |
Another view of the first bedroom, with the bi-fold doors closed. The door to the lower level full bath is seen through the open bedroom door. |
A view of the downstairs second bedroom, This room has linoleum tile in it rather than carpet, and was deliberately left that way in case someone prefers a room with no carpet. Use of area rugs in such a room permits frequent cleaning if required. The bi-fold closet doors are open in this view. This room measures 10'4" wide by 12' deep, including the closet which itself is 6'4" wide by 1'4" deep. A jack for cable TV is seen in the lower rear of the closet. |
Another view of the lower level second bedroom. The cabinet will be removed prior to occupancy, but may be left for use by a tenant if so desired. |
Here is a view of the utility room looking from the vicinity of the door to the garage toward the lower level bathroom, the plumbing pipes of which can be seen in the rear of the photo. In the left foreground is a utility sink, the right foreground is the hot water baseboard boiler (painted black), behind which is the water heater, painted white, and behind that the forced air unit, which supplies forced air gas heat and air conditioning. The utility room is about 16' long and about 8' wide, with a 2.5' nook having an extra refrigerator and a set of shelves. The area in the rear of the photo will accommodate a washer and dryer, either electric or gas. Machines can be provided if needed. |

Looking up the stairs toward the upper level hall, the living room is to the right of the upper iron railing. |

A view of the living room from the dining room, notice the nice built-in bookcase, suitable for books, DVDs, etc. in the right rear of the photo. |
A close-up shot of the living room built-in bookcase. Notice the fan and light over the stairwell, this can be used to lift cold air up in the warm season, and force warm air down in the winter. |
A view through the (smallish) dining room, which is an extension of the kitchen area, through the sliding glass door toward the deck and back yard. |
A view of the kitchen showing the top of the gas oven/stove on the left (brand new) , front of the new microwave above (with powered exhaust with external vent) as viewed edge-on (better view later) and brand new refrigerator on the right, along with the brand-new dishwasher and sink, and of course all the new cabinets and floor. |
A closer shot of the rear wall of the kitchen. |
Left wall of kitchen, as seen from the vicinity of the dining room. Lots of good storage, both in floor cabinets, with a countertop, and wall cabinets. The microwave contains a fan leading to an exhaust ventilation duct that goes into the attic and ultimately vents outside of the house. |
Open cabinets and drawers to the left of the stove. All doors and drawers have dampers to avoid slamming with they are shut. |
View of the open oven and stove top. |
View of the open cabinets above and to the left of the microwave. Note the wine rack to the far left. |
Open cabinets and drawers to the right of the stove. Note the open space to the right of the cabinet which has been left for you to store a short step-ladder or foot stool to reach the upper cabinets, or perhaps a broom and dustpan. |
|
Open cabinet underneath the sink. note the disposal motor, the motive-force behind the all-new disposal. |
|
Open wall cabinet to the right of the sink. Note the open white shelves to the right of the cabinet. |

A view of the new terracing and rock walkway leading from the gate that communicates to the side yard which is on the left side of the house as seen from the street. The rear side of the garage is also seen. |
One more view of the rear of the house.... |
View of the house's side yard opposite the gated side, next to the chimney. |
The upper part of the back yard, in "woods-like" condition (note: black dog at left not included in rental). |
The garage, dimensions 11'5" wide by 21'6" deep. A lawnmower (not shown) will be provided for those who don't have one. The mulch bag for the mower is seen hanging on the left, as is the empty gas jug. Storage shelves are seen on the right. Door to the utility room at the right rear. |
The front stoop and columns as seen from near the garage door. Note the shielding fence and hedge on the right, giving enough privacy to make the front stoop viable for relaxation or grilling, etc. Of course, you always have the deck and fenced backyard for that! |
